A holder (10) for retaining shirred gut sausage casing comprising an elongated, flexible, self-supporting, flattened tube having a longitudinal uninterrupted slit. The flattened tube comprises a pair of opposed parallel walls (18, 20) terminating in longitudinal edges (22, 24) at the slit. The flattened tube is formed from a relatively firm, flexible sheet material having a low coefficient of friction.
Support (10) servant à retenir un boyau à saucisse froncé et composé d'un tube allongé, souple, autonome, aplati comportant une fente continue dans le sens de la longueur. Ce tube aplati comporte une paire de parois parallèles opposées (18, 20) terminées par des bords longitudinaux (22, 24) au niveau de la fente. Ce tube aplati est fabriqué en un matériau plat relativement solide et souple présentant un coefficient de friction bas.
