A saw blade adjusting device including an adjusting link (7) fastened to a handle (6) by a tightening up screw (92), a tightening up rod (5) controlled by a wing nut (54) and having curved blocks (53) fitted into a trefoil-shaped through hole (41) on a frame (4) being fastened to the handle (6), a saw blade (3) connected between the tightening up rod (5) and the adjusting link (7), a toothed locating block (65) fastened to the handle (6), a gear (8) mounted on a rectangular block (72) on the adjusting link (7) and releasably meshed with the toothed locating block (65), and a spring (91) mounted on the adjusting link (7) and stopped between the gear (8) and the handle (6), whereby -12- the gear (8) can be disengaged from the toothed locating block (65) by loosening the tightening up screw (92) and the wing nut (54), then rotated in either direction to turn the saw blade (3) through 360° angle via the adjusting link (7), and then moved back to its former position in mesh with the toothed locating block (65) to hold the adjusting link (7) in keeping the saw blade (3) in the adjusted angular position.
