A saw blade with saw teeth (1) which are located on a carrier blade (Fig. 1, 8). The saw teeth flanks (2) are curved convex. The transition (3) between the cutting edge (4) of the saw tooth (1) and the curved convex saw tooth flank (2) is such that the spacing (6) between the radial center (2a) of the saw tooth flank (2) and the radial plane of symmetry (7) of the saw tooth (1) is greater than the spacing (5) between the transition (3) and the plane of symmetry (7).
