ABSTRACT A sawing gauge system to be used in case of intertrochantery accommodation osteotomies is disclosed. It comprises a first sawing gauge having an underside that is curved like a hollow cylinder for a face-to-face engagement with the bone surface of the femur shaft. A first sawing opening is provided in the first sawing gauge. The first sawing opening is oriented vertical to the axis of the femur shaft. A second sawing gauge is also provided. It has an underside that is curved like a hollow cylinder for a face-to-face engagement with the bone surface of the femur shaft. A second sawing opening is provided in the second sawing gauge. The second sawing opening is inclined towards the first sawing opening by an angle of 6° if the axes of the undersides curved like hollow cylinders of the first and second sawing gauges coincide.
