Canada - #1982 A B S T R A C T This invention encompasses a scaffold moving device which comprises a frame with a pair of wheels mounted thereon. The frame is adapted to removably attach and support one end of the scaffold. The wheels are driven simultaneously or independently by motors mounted on the frame and the motors are operated by a remote control means which permits a person standing on the scaffold to move and steer the scaffold. Each wheel has a braking means associated with it which is applied when the wheel is not being driven by the motor. When the braking means is applied to both wheels, the scaffold moving device is stopped and when the braking means is applied to one wheel while the other wheel is turning, the scaffold moving device is steered.
