An optical head assembly, method and procedure which generates and then precisely positions multiple light beams (201) onto a target. The system diffracts an input light source into a multiple light beam (215) pattern, or initially generates a multiple light beam pattern, in which individual beams of the multiple light beam (215) pattern are precisely spaced, corrected, focused and directed through a two axis plane (222, 223) to the target with minimal movement of any components of the optical head assembly. Such individual beams can also be individually modulated.

Ensemble tête optique, procédé et procédure permettant de produire des faisceaux (201) de lumière multiples et de les placer avec précision pour qu'ils atteignent une cible. Ledit système diffracte une source de lumière d'entrée en un motif à faisceaux (215) de lumière multiples, ou produit initialement un motif de faisceaux de lumière multiples dans lequel les faisceaux individuels du motif à faisceaux (215) de lumière multiples sont précisément espacés, corrigés, concentrés et dirigés à travers un plan (222, 223) à deux axes vers la cible, avec un mouvement minimal des composants de l'ensemble tête optique. Ces faisceaux individuels peuvent également être modulés séparément.
