Disclosed is a scavenger of harmful active oxygen and/or free radical in a living body, which can effectively reduce the concentration of active oxygen and/or free radical in vivo and, as a result, can shows a given effect such as an effect of preventing the progression of aging, an effect of preventing a geriatric disease or a life-style related disease, an effect of enhancing health and an effect of inhibiting oxidant stress. The scavenger comprises a liquid or gas containing at least a hydrogen molecule. The medium may also contain an oxygen molecule. The medium may comprise water, an aqueous solution or a gas. The scavenger can be used for the treatment or prevention of a disorder induced by active oxygen and/or free radical.
La présente invention concerne un piégeur de l'oxygène actif et/ou des radicaux libres nocifs dans un organisme vivant. Le piégeur peut réduire efficacement la concentration en oxygène actif et/ou en radicaux libres in vivo et, par conséquent, peut présenter un effet donné tel que la prévention du vieillissement, la prévention d'une maladie gériatrique ou d'une maladie liée au style de vie, l'amélioration de la santé ou l'inhibition du stress oxydatif.
