ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A scented Christmas tree ornament has been provided herein. The ornament comprises an absorbent material that has been cut into various shapes, e.g., square, rectangular, triangular, as well as irregular shapes, e.g., snowflakes, Christmas tree shapes, bells, balls, snowmen, gingerbread men, as well as any other shapes pertinent to Christmas decorations and including any three dimensional shapes that may constitute a Christmas tree decoration. This absorbent material has been impregnated with sufficient scent simulating freshly cut Christmas trees or cinnamon or ginger to enable the dispersion of such scent naturally into the air surrounding a Christmas tree on which the decoration is hung.
