IMPROVEMENTS IN SCRAPERS FOR SCRAPER-CHAIN ASSEMBLIES OF CONVEYORS ABSTRACT A scraper-chain assembly for a scraper-chain conveyor composed of channel sections or pans arranged end-to-end employs one or more central chains and scrapers transverse thereto. Each scraper has a pair of outer wings or arms and a central region which forms a bridging member extending over one or more links of the chain or chains. A connector fixed to the arm traps the link or links between the connector and the bridging member. Blocks are provided on the arms to increase the width of the undersurfaces thereof which run over the floor plates of the channel sections to ensure the scrapers cannot be trapped between the gaps between the floor plates of adjacent channel sections.
