A screen assembly (10) comprises a support frame (24) adapted to be mounted to a suitable support foundation. A plurality of screen elements (20) are resiliently mounted to the support frame (24) in a generally edge-to-edge relationship so as to define a generally planar screen surface (18). A vibratory device (26) is connected to each of the screen elements (20) to individually vibrate the screen elements (20) relative to each other. The vibration means (26) may comprise a pair of eccentrically weighted shafts (30, 32). Alternatively the vibration means may comprise a pair of motors each of which is eccentrically weighted.
Ensemble tamis (10) comportant un châssis porteur (24) adapté pour être monté sur une structure d'appui appropriée. Plusieurs éléments (20) de tamis sont montés de manière élastique sur le châssis porteur (24) et d'une manière générale contigus de sorte qu'ils constituent une surface de tamis (18) de forme générale plane. Un dispositif vibratoire (26) est relié à chacun des éléments (20) de tamis pour les (20) faire vibrer individuellement les uns par rapport aux autres. Le dispositif vibratoire (26) peut comporter une paire d'arbres (30, 32) munis de poids excentrés. Sinon, le dispositif vibratoire peut comporter une paire de moteurs dont chacun est muni de poids excentrés.
