ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE In a multicolour screen printing process the normal procedure is to print one colour at a time using multiple stencils which may be mounted to individual frames with the attendant time consuming process of ensuring frame registration relative to the master print bed. The present invention reduces set up time and places few demands upon the skills of the press operator by providing a simple and efficient frame registration system comprised of a generally rectangular rigid clamping head readily adaptable for detachable mounting to a variety of standard screen printing presses. The clamping head incorporates a plurality of snap cups mounted along one major surface and a female locking guide channel mounted on the same surface and below the snap cups. A plurality of snap plugs are mounted along the upper surface of one minor support strut of a standard screen printing frame and aligned with the snap cups of the clamping head. A male locking guide channel is mounted along the outer surface of the same frame support strut and is slidable engageable to the female locking guide channel of the clamping head. The end of the frame furthest away from the clamping head is tilted downwared and the male locking guide brought into contact with the locking guide. The frame is then tilted upward until the snap plugs are in contact with the snap cups. Further upward motion of the frame causes the snap plugs to snap into engagement with the snap cups, thus locking the frame to the clamping head in a position which is repeatable each time the frame is engaged with the clamping head. Additional security of the frame to the clamping head may be obtained by means of dual rotatable spring loaded clamps which engage the inner surface of the frame support strut to which is mounted the snap plugs and the male locking guide channel.
