A SEPARATOR FOR STOCK SUSPENSIONS Abstract of the Disclosure The separator maintains a free space above the level of the stock suspension within the separator tank to damp vi- brations and thus eliminate the need for separate vibration dampers. In one embodiment, the strainer element is mounted on the base of the tank to receive an upward flow of suspension while in another embodiment the strainer element is mounted at the end of the feed pipe coaxially above the discharge pipe.
