SCREENING APPARATUS Abstract of the Disclosure A screen and a coaxial radially spaced rotor provide a fluid passage for the fibrous material - liquid suspension. The rotor surface has the effect of pumping or assisting a flow of dilution liquid from the reject end towards the inlet end of the fluid passage, thereby partly or wholly offsetting the natural thickening of the suspension during screening.
