ABSTRACT A screening apparatus for fiber suspension having one or more perforated screen drums, means for feeding the suspension to the feed side of the screen drum(s), means for removing the screened suspension from the opposite side of the screen drum(s), a rotor fitted with one or more sets of blades, each set consisting of a plurality of blades which are alternately inclined in forward and reverse inclination in relation to the axis of the screen drum(s) so as to form a (continuous) zig-zag pattern of blades around the screen drum(s), and driving means for rotating the blades in relation to the screen drums. - 10 -
