The present invention refers to a screening device, such as a screen cylinder, for screening, filtration, fractioning or sorting e.g. pulp suspensions in pulp and paper making industry. The screening device comprises a plurality of filter wires (10) positioned at a small spacing parallel to each other and at least one longitudinal support element (12), for supporting the filter wires thereon. Each support element (12) has according to the invention a plurality of supporting slots (17) made through the up-stream side surface thereof, the slots having a form adapted to receive the downstream section (14) of the filter wires (10). The filter wires (10) are fixed to the slots in the support element by local deformation of the material (19, 36) within the slot (17).
L'invention concerne un dispositif de classage, tel qu'un cylindre à tamis, destiné au classage, au filtrage, au fractionnement ou au triage, par exemple, de suspension de pâte dans l'industrie de la fabrication de la pâte de bois et du papier. Le dispositif de classage comprend une pluralité de fils de filtre (10) placés parallèlement, à une certaine distance les uns des autres, et au moins un élément de support (12) longitudinal sur lequel sont placés les fils de filtre. Chaque élément de support (12) comporte, selon l'invention, une pluralité de fentes de support (17) ménagées dans la surface d'un tel élément située côté amont. Ces fentes ont une forme adaptée pour recevoir la section aval (14) des fils de filtre (10). Les fils de filtre (10) sont fixés dans les fentes de l'élément de support par déformation locale de la matière (19, 36) à l'intérieur de la fente (17).
