The invention relates to methods for identifying novel PP1-interacting polypeptides and proteins, compounds which are able to inhibit the binding of PP1 c to certain factors naturally interacting with it, especially proteins of the Bcl-2 family (such as Bcl-xL and Bcl-w), and pharmaceutical compositions comprising the same. The invention is based on the identification of a new PP1- binding motif having the sequence FXX[RKJX[RK], wherein X is any amino acid.
L'invention concerne des procédés d'identification de nouveaux polypeptides et protéines interagissant avec PP1, des composés capables d'empêcher la liaison de PP1c à certains facteurs interagissant naturellement avec PP1c, plus spécifiquement aux protéines de la famille Bcl-2 (telles que Bcl-x<SB>L</SB> et Bcl-w), ainsi que des compositions pharmaceutiques comprenant ceux-ci. L'invention se base sur l'identification d'un nouveau motif de liaison à PP1 possédant la séquence FXX[RK]X[RK], dans laquelle X représente un acide aminé.
