A method of choosing a screening geometry that is not a regular grid is disclosed. A characteristic self-interference frequency of a proposed screening geometry for a single screen is determined as a function of a cell grid and a pixel grid. The screen is accepted if the characteristic frequency is greater than a given value.

Une fréquence d'autoréférence caractéristique d'une géométrie de criblage proposée pour un tamis unique est déterminée en fonction d'une grille de cellules et d'une grille de pixels.
