It is intended to provide a method of screening a microorganism or a protein having a useful function by using a microchamber array and an apparatus therefor. Namely, a screening method and a screening apparatus whereby a protein having a desired enzymatic activity or a microorganism capable of producing the protein is screened from a sample to be screened by using a board which has a plural number of arrayed microchambers. According to the method and the apparatus, a protein having an enzymatic activity or a microorganism capable of producing the protein contained in a microchamber is detected by detecting fluorescence emitted by an enzymatic reaction between the protein having the enzymatic activity and a fluorescent substrate.
La présente invention concerne un procédé de criblage d'un micro-organisme ou d'une protéine ayant une fonction utile utilisant un réseau de microchambres et un appareil qui contient celui-ci. L~invention concerne un procédé de criblage et un appareil de criblage dans lesquels une protéine présentant une activité enzymatique souhaitée ou un micro-organisme capable de produire la protéine est criblé à partir d~un échantillon à cribler en utilisant une planche qui possède une pluralité de microchambres en réseau. Selon le procédé et l~appareil, une protéine ayant une activité enzymatique ou un micro-organisme capable de produire la protéine retenu dans une microchambre est détecté en détectant la fluorescence émise par une réaction enzymatique entre la protéine qui présente une activité enzymatique et un substrat fluorescent.
