A screw anchoring device for aperture sealing attachment with an apertured panel to confine insulating material foamed in place between the panel and an attached spaced wall or other structure. The device includes a plate member having corners and a generally flat portion lying in a plane with a central aperture forming a helical screw receiving impression. The device also has a pair of upstanding tabs projecting from one face of the generally flat portion of the plate member at opposite sides of and adjacent to the screw impression. The plate member has a raised portion formed from the plate member at the corners and along each of two opposite edges of the flat portion of the plate member. These raised portions are convexly curved upwardly from the plane of the flat portion and from the face opposite from the face with the upstanding tabs and the corners of the plate member are semi-spherical shaped. There is a continuous pad of material capable of being penetrated by a screw and having an exposable adhesive surface substantially covering and carried by the plate member with the tabs projecting for entry into the panel aperture and through the pad ant having the adhesive surface of the pad extending across the panel aperture for mounting and sealing adherence to the adjacent paneled surface to prevent egress of trapped insulating material through the paneled aperture. The screw impression is in position for threaded engagement with a screw passed through the panel aperture and the pad for attachment of a utility component to the opposite panel surface.
Dispositif d'ancrage de vis permettant de fermer hermétiquement une ouverture au moyen d'un panneau perforé pour enfermer un isolant expansé entre ce panneau et une paroi ou une autre structure associée. Ce dispositif est constitué d'une plaque munie de coins et d'une section généralement plate située dans un plan et au centre de laquelle une ouverture présente des contours formant le filetage de réception correspondant à une vis hélicoïdale. Ce dispositif comporte également une paire de languettes droites faisant saillie sur une face de la section généralement plate de la plaque, à côté et de part et d'autre du filetage de réception de la vis. La plaque présente une section surélevée et incorporée à la plaque au niveau des coins et le long des deux bords opposés de la section plate. Ces parties surélevées sont convexes et incurvées vers le haut en partant du plan de la section plate et de la face opposée à celle où se trouvent les languettes droites, les coins de la plaque ayant une forme semi-sphérique. La plaque est recouverte d'un matériau de garniture dans lequel on peut faire entrer une vis et comportant une surface adhésive que l'on peut exposer, tandis que les languettes font saillie pour pénétrer par l'ouverture du panneau et dans la garniture, la surface adhésive de la garniture passant par l'ouverture du panneau pour adhérer hermétiquement à la surface à panneaux contiguë de manière à empêcher que l'isolant contenu dans la structure ne sorte par l'ouverture à panneaux. Le filetage de réception d'un pas de vis est placé de manière à ce qu'il soit possible de le mettre en prise avec le filetage d'une vis introduite par l'ouverture à panneaux et à travers la garniture pour rattacher un composant utilitaire à la surface du panneau opposé.
