The invention concerns an osteosynthesis for the backbone comprising at least two pedicular screws (10) an a linking plate (20) for linking the screws together substantially rigidly. Each screw has a bone anchoring threaded part and a head (13) with non-circular cross-section, and a threaded end shank (14) receiving a nut (40). The plate has at least one opening (21, 22) traversed by the screw end threaded shank to be locked between said head and said nut, and means (30) are arranged for producing an angular locking between each head (13) and the plate. The invention is characterised in that said locking means comprise an element (30) directly mounted between the plate and the screw head and traversed by the threaded shank, said element producing a first locking co-operation with said head (13) and a second locking co-operation with said plate (20).

Un système d'ostéosynthèse pour le rachis comprend su moins deux vis pédiculaires (10) et une plaque d'union (20) apte à relier tes vis l'une à l'autre de façon essentiellement rigide. Chaque vis possède un partie filetée d'ancrage osseux et une tête (13) à section non circulaire, ainsi qu'une tige filetée terminale (14) recevant un écrou (40). La plaque possède au moins une ouverture (21, 22) traversée par la tige filetée terminale d'une vis pour être emprisonnée entre ladite tête et ledit écrou, et des moyens (30) sont prévus pour réaliser un blocage angulaire entre chaque tête (13) et la plaque. Selon l'invention, ces moyens de blocage comprennent un élément (30) rapporté entre la plaque et la tête de vis et traversé par la tige filetée, cet élément réalisant une première coopération de formes bloquante avec ladite tête (13) et une seconde coopération de formes bloquante avec ladite plaque (20).
