14 Abstract Screw Cap A screw cap made of deep-drawable material, more par- ticularly, of aluminum is proposed. The screw cap is distinguished by reinforcing beads (6) produced in the wall (3) of the screw cap (1). The reinforcing beads are arranged in spaced relation to one another on a helical line and thereby form the thread of the screw cap (1). A particularly high stability of the screw cap is ac- hieved with the strip-shaped, continuous regions (7) located between the reinforcing beads and so a blow-off, i.e., a snapping-off of the screw cap in the event of excess pressure in the container is reliably prevented. (Figure 1)
