The invention relates to a screw compressor (1) for compressing matter (2) that passes through the screw compressor (1). The screw compressor comprises a screw (3) having an outer thread (4) with a pitch that decreases in the longitudinal direction of the screw (3), and a casing 5 that encases the screw (3). The casing has an inner side (6) that faces the thread (4) of the screw (3) so that matter may be passed ahead through the screw compressor (1) between the screw (3) and the inner side of the casing (5) in a direction from an inlet end (7) of the screw compressor, where the pitch of the screw (3) thread (4) is greater, to an outlet end (8) of the crew compressor (1), where the pitch of the screw (3) thread (4) is smaller. Appliances are arranged on the inner side of the casing to prevent matter that passes through the screw compressor from rotating along with the screw (3). Inside the screw (3), a conduit (10) is arranged for introduction of liquid. The invention also relates to a method for compressing and dewatering.
L'invention concerne un compresseur (1) à vis servant à comprimer une matière (2) passant dans le compresseur (1) à vis. Le compresseur à vis comprend une vis (3) présentant un filet extérieur (4) avec un pas se réduisant dans la direction longitudinale de la vis (3), et une gaine (5) contenant la vis (3). La gaine comprend une partie interne (6) située face au filet (4) de la vis (3) de manière que la matière puisse avancer dans le compresseur (1) à vis entre la vis (3) et la partie interne de la gaine (5) dans une direction définie à partir d'une extrémité (7) d'entrée du compresseur (1) à vis, le pas du filet (4) de la vis (3) étant plus petit. Des dispositifs sont placés sur la partie interne de la gaine afin d'empêcher la matière passant dans le compresseur de tourner en même temps que la vis (3).
