A screw for securing sections on a substructure has a shaft (2) with a boring section (4) and a threaded section (5), as well as a screw head (3). The section (6) of the shaft (2) adjacent to the screw head (3) is conically tapered towards the screw head (3). The screw head (3) has bosses and/or recesses on its bottom side (7). When the screw is used to secure sections on a substructure, the section to be secured is pressed by the conical section (6) in the screwing direction against the fixed substructure (11).
