The invention relates to a screwless terminal (1), especially a modular terminal, with a conductor bar (3) situated in a terminal housing (2) and with an insulation displacement contact element (4) electroconductively connected to said conductor bar (3). An electrical conductor (11) that is introduced via a housing lead-through can be contacted between the cutting edges (7, 8) of the insulation displacement contact element (4), whereby the cutting edges (7, 8) face each other. According to the invention, the insulation displacement contact element (4) is moveably arranged on the conductor bar (3). Insulation displacement contacting of the fixedly positioned conductor (11) is carried out by a translation movement of the insulation displacement contact element (4) along the conductor bar (3). An additional actuating element (40) that engages with an actuating tool (13) allows for a careful handling during contacting of the conductor (11) by avoiding a direct contact between the actuating tool (13) and a contacting element (4a, 4b) comprising the insulation displacement contact element (4).

Borne de raccordement (1) sans vis, en particulier borne multiple, dotée d'une barre conductrice (3) située dans un boîtier (2) et d'un contact autodénudant (4) connecté de manière électriquement conductrice avec ladite barre. Un conducteur électrique (11) introduit par une traversée (10) ménagée dans le boîtier peut être mis en contact entre les arêtes de coupe (7, 8) situées face à face du contact autodénudant. Selon la présente invention, le contact autodénudant (4) est placé coulissant sur la barre conductrice (3), le contact entre le conducteur fixe (11) et le contact autodénudant étant assuré par un mouvement de translation du contact autodénudant (4) le long de la barre conductrice (3). Un élément d'actionnement supplémentaire (40) coopérant avec un organe d'actionnement (13) permet un maniement délicat lors de la mise en contact du conducteur (11), du fait qu'un contact direct est évité entre l'organe d'actionnement (13) et un élément de mise en contact (4a, 4b) comportant le contact autodénudant (4).
