ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE This invention relates to seals. One type of seal is useful in closing bags, while another type of seal disclosed is useful for locking cash drawers, jewelry tote boxes, zippered pouches, etc. The seal comprises a one piece socket and latch member. The latch member extends laterally from the socket and comprises a first extension member. In the case of a seal for closing bags, this extension member comprises a gripping section for gripping and engagement of a bag; in the case of a seal for other types of containers, this section may comprise a relatively flat strap of a flexible nature. The seal has a second section having shoulders for locking with fingers inside the socket. A third section may also be provided which is in the form of a strap- like member with an aperture at one end and an enlarged head at the other end. When the enlarged head is passed through the aperture, a label retaining means is formed. The seal for flexible containers provides a one-piece seal; the seal for other types of containers provides adjustability.
