Abstract of the disclosure A seal is provided which is intended for sealing off a space between two sur- faces. The seal includes an elastic body having a first portion fitted to one of the surfaces defining the space and a second portion contacting the second space. The second portion has a groove provided with a flexible strip, where- on a fibre flock is fitted to extend through the opening of the groove for the purpose of contacting the second surface.
