ABSTRACT TUBE ASSEMBLY FOR THE PASSAGE OF MOLTEN MEDIA A tube assembly for the passage of molten metal comprises two axial and relatively rotatable tubes 1,2 the adjacent ends of which are constituted by removable rings 3,4 and define an outwardly divergent annular space 8 of V-shaped cross-section. Within the space 8 there is a sealing ring 5 whose outer periphery is engaged by a clamping band 6 urging the sealing ring inwards and into contact with the inclined end surfaces of the tubes.
