ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A seal device for a high pressure steamer composed of a pair of seal rubber rolls to be pressed against each other mounted on an opening port of each hollowed passage at one end thereof for blocking said opening port formed at the inlet of fabrics to be treated as well as the outlet of treated fabrics respectively provided in a high pressure steamer, sealing plates being in pressed contact with pressure bearing surfaces against the in- ternal pressure of said steamer respectively disposed close near to the pressedly contacting portion of each of said seal rubber rolls for cutting the interior of said steamer off from the exterior thereof, a cylindrical duct accommodated within said hollowed passage, one end opening port of said cylindrical duct being communicated with the interior of a steamer while the other end opening port of which being disposed close near to the pressedly contacting portion of said seal rubber rolls, and a pressure air blast port for supplying pressure air provided between said cylindrical duct and said hollowed passage.
