21 Abstract The invention relates to a container closure comprising a wall including a bottom and a side wall, and a seal- ing device including an axial seal which cooperates with an end face of the container and a sealing lip which co- operates radially with a circumferential surface of the container and with which an actuating arm is associated. For an optimal sealing effect with a simple design, it is proposed that actuating arm (5) and sealing lip (3) form an inherently rigid rocker (18) with which a weak- ened zone (17) of the wall of the container closure fa- cilitating a swivel motion is associated for decoupling, with the actuating arm (5) forming the axial seal (13) and coinciding with the bottom (15). (Figure 1)
