ABSTRACT This invention relates to a post indicating valve assembly and more specifically to an orienting means formed at the end of an operating shaft to provide a reference in determining the closure member positions. An indicator means having a complementary socket means is provided to slidably accommodate the orienting means for support thereon. A seal means having annular lip means is constructed and arranged to provide a sealing engagement about the periphery of the operating shaft. -i-
