ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A seal made of elastomeric material is disclosed consisting of a strip having varying shapes adapted to fit into one or several longitudinal grooves made in the surfaces of wooden beam members and joists. As a preferred use, the seal provides excellent and durable sealing and insulation between the top surfaces of a concrete foundation wall and the overlying sill members of a frame house.
