A seal ring, comprised of a support ring (1), that is connected with a first seal lip (2) made of an elastomer material and a second seal lip (3) made of a polymer material, where the second seal lip (3) is clipped but not fixed to the support body (1) by means of a clip (4), where the clip (4) serves as the first centering ring (5) for the precentered assembly of a machine element (6) to be sealed in the seal ring and has a sloped inlet (7) located axially in the direction of assembly (8) of the machine element (6) and of the first seal lip (2) and whose diameter (9) increases axially in the direction of assembly (8) and of the first seal lip (2) like a funnel, where the second seal lip (3) acts as a second centering ring (10) for the further precentered assembly of the machine element (6) and is located after the first centering ring (5) in the direction of assembly (8) and forms an additional seal (11) for the first seal lip (2).
