Seal strip (1) for a hollow circular cylindrical screening device (2), which screening device is intended to be used in a paper or cardboard machine for the production of paper or cardboard, said seal strip exhibiting indicator means (5) for indicating wear of the seal strip. The indicator means (5) is arranged to continuously give a measure of a remaining wear allowance (x) and preferably also a wear rate, of the seal strip (1).

L'invention concerne une bande (1) d'étanchéité pour dispositif (2) de tamisage cylindrique, circulaire et creux, lequel dispositif de tamisage est destiné à être utilisé dans une machine à papier ou à carton permettant de produire du papier ou du carton. Ladite bande d'étanchéité comporte des indicateurs (5) destinés à indiquer l'usure de la bande d'étanchéité. Ces indicateurs (5) sont disposés de manière à donner en continu une mesure de la marge (x) d'usure restante, et de préférence, à indiquer le taux d'usure de la bande (1) d'étanchéité.
