SEALED BEAM UNIT AND METHOD FOR AN IMPROVED SEALED EXHAUST HOLE Abstract of the Disclosure A method for sealing the exhaust hole of a seal beam lamp during the manufacture thereof is disclosed together with a seal beam headlamp unit containing such seal. This consists of filling the exhaust hole in the lamp reflector with an ultraviolet light curable plastic such as acrylic composition and applying a light-transmitting material such as polyvinyl chloride to the plastic and subjecting it to ultraviolet light to thereby harden the plastic in the hole and bind the light-transmitting material to it.
