A coating dispensing device (20) includes a trigger assembly (26) for actuating the coating dispensing device to dispense coating material and a nozzle (30) through which the coating material is dispensed. The coating dispensing device further includes a first port (34) adapted to supply compressed gas to the coating dispensing device and a second port (36) adapted to supply coating material to the coating dispensing device. The coating dispensing device further includes a generator (38) having a shaft (42). A turbine wheel (40) is mounted on the shaft. Compressed gas coupled to the first port impinges upon the turbine wheel to spin the shaft, producing voltage. An electrode (62) adjacent the nozzle is coupled to the generator to receive electricity therefrom to electrostatically charge the coating material. First and second seals seal the shaft where the shaft protrudes from the generator at its ends.
La présente invention concerne un dispositif de distribution de revêtement (20) comportant un ensemble de déclenchement (26) pour lactionnement du dispositif de distribution de revêtement en vue de la distribution de matériau de revêtement et une buse (30) à travers laquelle le matériau de revêtement est distribué. Le dispositif de distribution de revêtement comporte également un premier orifice (34) apte à alimenter du gaz comprimé au dispositif de distribution de revêtement et un second orifice (36) apte à alimenter du matériau de revêtement au dispositif de distribution de revêtement. Le dispositif de distribution de revêtement comporte en outre un générateur (38) comprenant un arbre (42). Une roue de turbine (40) est montée sur larbre. Du gaz comprimé couplé au premier orifice vient percuter la roue de turbine pour faire tourner larbre, produisant une tension. Une électrode (62) adjacente à la buse est couplée au générateur pour en recevoir de lélectricité pour fournir une charge électrostatique au matériau de revêtement. Des premier et second joints assurent létanchéité de larbre lorsque larbre fait saillie depuis le générateur à ses extrémités.
