Sealed Neck Support for Shampoo Bowls Abstract of the Disclosure A neck support is installable in the wall indentation of a hairdresser's shampoo bowl or the like and defines a notch for receiving and cushioning the neck of a person whose hair is to be shampooed or otherwise administered to. A membrane extends across the notch to form a fluid leakage barrier, the membrane being an elastic material which distends to the extent necessary to enable entry of the person's neck into the notch and then remains in tight contact with the back and sides of the neck.
