A telecommunications active electrical circuit apparatus, comprising: (a) a circuit board having active components; (b) a flexible environmental gas and liquid barrier envelope sealingly encapsulating at least part of said circuit board; and (c) an electrical connector for connecting the circuit board to an external system, whereby said connector is located outside the flexible barrier envelope and is electrically connected to the circuit board by means of one or more flexible electrical conductors extending out of the flexible envelope.
Cette invention concerne un appareillage de circuits électriques actifs de télécommunication comportant (a) une plaquette de circuit pourvue de composants actifs, (b) une enveloppe souple faisant office de barrière contre les gaz et les liquides environnementaux et assurant l'encapsulation étanche d'au moins une partie de ladite plaquette et (c) un connecteur électrique permettant de connecter la plaquette à un système externe, ledit connecteur étant situé à l'extérieur de l'enveloppe souple à effet de barrière et étant relié électriquement à la plaquette au moyen d'au moins un conducteur électrique flexible dépassant de l'enveloppe souple.
