A show cabinet for displaying objects, one of the side panels of which is in the form of a glass door, the outer face of which, in the area of the outer edge when in the closed position, closes flush with one side panel of the cabinet in order to seal off the interior of the cabinet in a dust-tight and airtight manner against its surroundings, appropriate flexible sealing strips being affixed in the area of movement of the door. The door is mounted by a guiding means in such a way that it can be moved sideways in a parallel manner until the door opening is completely clear; to open the door, the relevant side panel (5) can be pushed back, or the door can be moved forward, to such an extent that the inner face (8) of the door (3) is able to pass the front edge (7) of the side panel (5)
L'invention concerne une vitrine de présentation d'objets, dont une surface latérale est conçue en tant que porte vitrée. A l'état fermé, la surface extérieure de ladite porte vitrée est jointive, au niveau de l'arête extérieure, avec une surface latérale de la vitrine, afin de fermer l'espace intérieur de la vitrine de façon étanche aux poussières et à l'air par rapport à l'environnement extérieur, l'étanchéité étant obtenue par disposition de joints élastiques adaptés dans la zone de mouvement de la porte. La porte est logée au moyen d'un élément de guidage de manière à pouvoir coulisser parallèlement de façon latérale, jusqu'à libération totale de l'ouverture de la porte. Pour l'ouverture de la porte, la surface latérale concernée (5) peut être repoussée en arrière, ou la porte peut être poussée en avant, jusqu'à ce que la surface intérieure (8) de la porte (3) puisse passer l'arête avant (7) de la surface latérale (5).
