A filter or dust collector which includes a housing for supporting a filter media formed as an endless belt to move along said housing as dirty air passes inwardly through the moving filter media. The surfaces of the housing which support the moving filter media are formed with suction channels, and the filter media is provided with a sealing strip that includes a slack portion of flaccid material that can be drawn partially into the suction channel by the suction therein to enhance the seal along the side edges of the moving filter media.
Cette invention concerne un filtre ou dépoussiéreur qui comprend un caisson servant de support à un matériau filtrant sous la forme d'une bande sans fin défilant dans le caisson pour intercepter les saletés transportées par l'air. Les surfaces du caisson qui supportent le matériau filtrant mobile se présentent sous la forme de profilés d'aspiration et le matériau filtrant comporte une bande d'étanchéité dont une partie souple peut être aspirée en partie dans le profilé d'aspiration pour améliorer l'étanchéité périphérique du matériau filtrant.
