A sealing arrangement (12) for a piston rod of circular cross-section comprises a one-piece sealing ring (1) with a spacing (1a) and compensating clearance (S), and a cover ring (2) surrounding the sealing ring (1) around its circumference. The sealing ring (1) at least one end (1b) has a section (1d, 1e) which extends around the ring circumference and together with the other end (1c) of the sealing ring (1) forms an overlap engagement. The sealing ring (1) decreases in radial thickness (D) towards the spacing (1a). The proposed arrangement creates an excellent seal in the radial direction.
L'invention concerne un dispositif d'étanchéité (12), destiné à une tige de piston de section circulaire, comprenant une bague d'étanchéité (1) d'une seule pièce pourvue d'un espacement (1a) et d'un jeu compensateur (S) ainsi qu'une bague de recouvrement (2) entourant la bague d'étanchéité (1) dans le sens circonférentiel. La bague d'étanchéité (1) présente sur au moins une extrémité (1b) une section (1d, 1e) s'étendant dans le sens circonférentiel de la bague d'étanchéité (1). Cette section constitue conjointement avec l'autre extrémité (1c) de la bague d'étanchéité (1) un point de jointure à chevauchement. La bague d'étanchéité (1) présente une épaisseur (D) radiale qui décroît en direction de l'espacement (1a). Ce dispositif offre une excellente étanchéité dans le sens axial.
