The present invention relates to a sealing assembly for use in chromatography columns and methods for forming a seal in such columns. The assembly comprises a sealing element composed of a material having a low coefficient of friction and a separate resilient member co-operating therewith. The seal provided is stable over a temperature range of +2°C to +30°C.
La présente invention se rapporte à un ensemble d'étanchéité à utiliser dans des colonnes de chromatographie et à des procédés de formation d'un joint étanche dans de telles colonnes. L'ensemble comprend un élément d'étanchéité composé d'un matériau présentant un faible coefficient de frottement et un élément élastique séparé coopérant avec l'élément d'étanchéité.
