ABSTRACT A weather seal device for providing a seal between a surface having longitudinal ridges and/or valleys and an elongate member extending therethrough, said device having an apertured base member of resilient deformable material and a sleeve member of resilient material integral with the base member and projecting from one side thereof. The base member in use being superimposed on the surface with the elongate member extending through the aperture therein, and through the sleeve member. The base member having a marginal edge portion to in use be positioned to extend in a direc- tion inclined to the direction of the longitudinal ridges and/or valleys. The marginal edge portion being contoured along its length in a direction normal to the plane of the base member, so that in a free state the length of the marginal edge portion measured along the contours is greater than the linear length thereof.
