ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention provides a sealing gasket comprising a member defining a central cavity with a pair of lateral wings, an elastic support housed in the said cavity, a covering having a good resistance to wear and a low coefficient of friction which covers the cavity and extends beneath the lateral wings upon which it is fastened. The sealing gasket of the invention is use- ful especially in obturators such as fluid-tight regulator valves.
