SEALING MACHINE CLOSURE CAP PICKUP ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION An improved cap pickup is described for use with straight line sealing machines which seal containers with closure caps. The pickup has a simplified construction including a central mounting frame on which several cap applying shoes are movably mounted and has an improved cap chute end positioned at the entrance end of the pickup for precisely positioning closure caps on the finish of containers being moved below the cap pickup. -1-
