SEALING PLUNGER FOR CARTRIDGE Abstract of the Disclosure The present invention relates to a sealing plunger for a cartridge. The plunger is comprised of a generally cup-shaped body molded of relatively rigid resin material. The body has an annular wall closely engaging the inner surface of the cartridge when the plunger is in the cartridge. Seal material is joined to the annular wall and molded of resin material which is substantially softer and more resilient than the resin material of the body. The seal material has a resin-to-resin bond with the annular wall. The seal material extends axially rearward of the annular wall when the plunger is initially seated in the cartridge. The portion of the seal material which extends rearward of the annular wall is shaped to extend around the rearward end of the cartridge and closely engages the outer surface of a rearward region of the cartridge when the plunger is initially seated in the cartridge.
