The present invention provides a sealing portion structure a double-walled heat-insulating container which is without deterioration even when the container is exposed to a high temperature and an impact, and capable of being securely sealed and carrying out sealing in a short time. In the sealing portion structure of the exhaust hole of the heat-insulating container and a sealing method thereof, the double-walled heat-insulating container comprises an inner casing 2 and an outer casing 3 integrally joined with maintaining a space 4 therebetween, the space provided with heat-insulating medium Z to be a heat-insulating layer 5. In order to provide the heat-insulating medium Z in the space 4, an exhaust hole 7 is provided in a bottom portion 3b of the outer casing 3 and then sealed with an adherent sealing material 12 and a sealing plate 10. Then sealing plate is covered with a protection member 11 via an elastic type adhesive agent 13 to be fixed.
