ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A connection for a pair of overlapped lengths of strap is provided, without the aid of an overlying supplemental seal or fastener, by means of an array of longitudinally spaced, separate joints which form a one-way interlocking relationship. The joints each comprise lengthwise protuberances presenting opposed non-interlocking shoulders displaced from the respective planes of the overlapped lengths of strap and lengthwise protuberances pre- senting opposed and overlapping interlocking shoulders displaced from the respective planes of the overlapped lengths of strap shaped to interlock with each other. At least one of the interlocking shoulders is an anti- disengagement shoulder which is disposed beneath a non-interlocking shoulder and is angled laterally and has a greater width than that of the non- interlocking shoulder above it. Upon shifting of the joined overlapping lengths of metal strap relative to each other in a direction tending to disengage the joints, the anti-disengagement shoulder wedges in the corres- ponding slit of the other strap to provide a stop preventing disengagement of the connection.
