2093443 9206517 PCTABS00011 The invention relates to a seal for gas-carrying lines wherein the inorganic material which is tough at the operating temperature is fitted between at least two parts which must be able to move relative to one another. The inorganic material used is preferably a material which has Bingham flow characteristics, such as silicate glass. The invention further provides an installation, especially an electrochemical cell and still more preferably a fuel cell provided with at least one seal according to the invention.
