A seamless punching balloon destined to hang freely over ground, and consisting of: a single sheet inflatable elastomeric smooth surfaced envelope, this envelope formed as a pear-shape sealed balloon by rotomolding and defining a narrow end portion; a rigid cup member, integrally surface fused with the envelope narrow end portion; a rigid ear member, integral to the rigid cup member and projecting away from the envelope and defining an aperture for engagement by a support hook for hanging the punching ball spacedly over ground; and an anchoring element, for permanently anchoring the cup member and the envelope narrow end portion to one another. The invention also relates to a process of manufacture thereof, using a rotomolding oven to fuse the plastic cup member and plastic ear member to the rubber envelope by melting the envelope material while maintaining the cup member and ear member solid, and by thereafter intermelding the solid ear and cup member with the liquid rubber envelope compound.
