A kit for transforming a pair of skis and a pair of ski poles into a temporary rest structure is provided that comprises: a ski-ski connector means for connecting the pair of skis together adjacent one of their ends; and a pole-ski connector means for connecting one end of each of said pair of ski poles to its respective ski to permit the other end to engage with the ground; and a seat configuration. The ski-ski connector means and the pole-ski connector means combine, when assembled, to support the skis with their free ends spaced apart on the ground in an upright triangular position.
